We all love the ease and vibe of Bondi Beach and Sydney will always be home, but now with half the Banjo Team in LA; we have to say that we're torn between the two cities. So here are our top picks for wining and dining in Santa Monica.

For the perfect DRINK:
Visit Bodega Wine Bar
814 Broadway, Santa Monica, CA
The perfect wine spot for a casual catch up or a little date night, Bodega is simply perfect. The Fig Challa will melt in your mouth and the drink list ticks all the right boxes.
Banjo tip: Get comfortable, it'll be your new 'go-to'.

For the best BURGER:
Visit Pono Burger
829 Broadway, Santa Monica, CA
Grass-fed, organic beef that's locally sourced is a certain perk to this Hawaiian burger chain. Pono Burger produces really fresh, tasty burgers and the hand cut fries are something that you will have to make room for.
Banjo tip: As a side try the hand cut sweet potato fries and the baby kale salad. Quite a contrast but you'll need both!

For the MEATY'S & VEGO'S:
Visit Estate Restaurant & Bar
1519 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica, CA
A super trendy and cosy restaurant and bar with an extensive cocktail list! To nibble, try the flat bread, they are known for it! The salads are divine and certainly accommodate all tastebuds!
Banjo Tip: When making a reservation, ask to sit on a booth!

Visit Herringbone for Oyster Hour
1755 Ocean Avenue. Santa Monica, CA
The 'hard to find' Oyster Happy Hour happens here and they happen to be exceptionally fresh and exceptionally delicious. The cool joint also has lots of other delightful options on offer but we certainly get distracted by the oysters! Check it out when you are next in SM!
Banjo Tip: Devour $1 oysters from 4:30pm to 6:30pm Monday to Friday. Yes please.

Enjoy xx
